  • The National Tax Team specializes in supporting Estate & Trust Services Relationship Managers by providing efficient, accurate and quality client service related to tax return preparation.
  • As Associate Tax Officer, you will be accountable for consistently delivering high quality tax returns, demonstrating attention to detail and ensure that key filing deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate, organize, and retrieve data using formulas and logic functions
  • Strong personal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working with a Financial Institution or Accounting firms
  • Goal to pursue CPA designation
  • Good working knowledge of taxation requirements for estate and trust products
  • In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
