About the role
- This role offers the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively,
- Monitor global events, threats, and risks using intelligence platforms, news sources, and internal systems.
- Analyze security incidents in real time and escalate critical issues to leadership as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Support incident response and crisis management activities as directed.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation of incidents and actions taken.
- Collaborate with internal security, safety, and business continuity teams to ensure a coordinated response.
- Provide backup support for other GSOC team members during absences or high-volume periods.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to assess information, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights.
- Ability to quickly understand and assess evolving global events and their potential impact.
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure or during crisis situations.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, crisis management or related field.
- Prior work in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or Cyber/Corporate Security Operations Center (CSOC).
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing clear alerts, reports, and briefings.
- Assist in testing CSOC systems, tools, and procedures and suggest any opportunities for improvement.
