About the role

Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure program and application integrity through various testing phases (Unit, Integration, Smoke, etc.).

As a Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst, you will lead the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of business-critical IBM i applications.
Support our clients in resolving application issues, identify business needs, and deliver solutions throughout the full project life cycle.
Analyze, design, code, and test software applications using all versions of RPG and SQL.

Capable of leading a small technical team when required.
20+ years of proven experience with the IBM i (iSeries/AS/400) platform.
The ability to explain technical "why" to stakeholders in business terms and "how" to developers in technical terms.
Experience with major IBM I ERP systems (Infor LX, BPCS, Infor XA, MAPICS, PRMS, JDE, Frontier, HFA, etc.)
Experience with RDi (Rational Developer for i) or Eclipse-based IDEs.
Familiarity with Git or SVN in an IBM i environment.
Experience with Impact Analysis tools.
Experience with integration solutions using APIs, JSON, XML and other integration tools such as GoAnywhere.
You can work anywhere in US… either from your home or in one of our offices… the decision is up to you.

Modern DevOps: Familiarity with Git or SVN in an IBM i environment.
Analysis: Experience with Impact Analysis tools.
Integrations: Experience with integration solutions using APIs, JSON, XML and other integration tools such as GoAnywhere.
