About the role

  • Vertex recently launched JOURNAVX, an oral, non-opioid medication for the treatment of moderate-to-severe acute pain.
  • Peer education is a highly important way to generate awareness, understanding and excitement across the nations largest and most complex Health Systems and hospitals.
  • This role reports to the Director, Health Systems Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, strategy, and execution for HS Congress presence and activities (e.g., exhibit, sponsorships, booth design, product theaters, advertising, et al.) for JOURNAVX within the U.S. Commercial Pain Business Unit
  • Support the planning and execution of strategic account led congresses

Requirements

  • Ability to travel 30%

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with institutional and IDN marketing and/or sales
  • Early career experience as a strong individual contributor in a professional work setting
  • Pharmaceutical drug launch experience preferred
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of health information technology, IDN systems, and institutional markets

Compensation

  • $162,800 - $244,200
  • The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting.
  • This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.
  • Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
  • Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
