About the role
- The World Trade Center Health Registry (WTCHR) was created in 2002 to monitor and evaluate the physical and mental health impact on more than 71,000 persons exposed to the September 11, 2001 disaster.
- Reporting to the Director of Research, you will be serving as the manager for a newly established sub-unit devoted to Translational Epidemiology.
- Established in 1805, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC Health Department) is the oldest and largest health department in the U.S., dedicated to protecting and improving the health of NYC.
Requirements
- However, all candidates must have at least a master's degree in an appropriate field of specialization and at least two years of experience described in "2" above.
- Two years as a City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for the experience required in "1" and "2" above.
