Organizational Skills
About the role
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies to maximize efficiency; correct any inventory deficiencies or discrepancies and restock as needed/assigned.
- Other duties as assigned (i.e. trade work, crane operation, carpentry, driving etc.).
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, well-organized shop.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications and have a basic mechanical aptitude with tools.
Skills
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment with little direction.
- Understand safety in the workplace and on jobsites.
- Ability to withstand periods of physical exertion.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to operate an Industrial Forklift and Rough Terrain Forklift.
- Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- CDL not required.
- Basic computer skills helpful.
- Mechanical aptitude desired.
- Previous experience with picking and forklift a plus.
