About the role

Vertex is currently accepting applications for a Hydrovac Operator in Nisku, AB.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience and valid safety tickets.

Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor.

Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with a clean drivers abstract required.
2 years Class 1 or 3 operating experience.
Must be able to successfully pass a 12-panel drug and alcohol test
Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
The successful candidate must be an experienced Hydrovac Operators.
Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines

1 - 2 years Class 1 or 3 operating experience.
1-year Hydrovac experience is an asset.
Possess safety tickets including but not limited to First Aid/CPR, Ground Disturbance Level II Supervisory, Confined Space, H2S Alive, Fall Protection
Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices.
Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned.
Integrity and reliability, willing to accept after hour calls when necessary.
