About the role

  • The role will function as a unit clerk in the OBED while also managing the scheduling phone, coordinating procedures, and posting charges.
  • Restocks supplies and retrieves equipment as directed by patient care staff.
  • Fulfills patient requests for basic needs, i.e. comfort requests, as directed by patient care staff.

Responsibilities

  • 40-MB rooms, 15-LDR rooms, 14-High Risk Antepartum, 8-bed OBED unit, 4-LIBC Birthing Suites, and 4-Pre Post Rooms 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases).
  • Performs various activities in support of patient care staff, as assigned.
