About the role

NextGen is seeking a talented and passionate Sr Electrical Engineer/RF Engineer to join our growing team in North Mankato, MN.
You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers to bring innovative and high-performing products to market.

Design, simulate, and optimize RF and electrical systems for various applications.
Develop and optimize impedance matching circuits for high-performance RF designs.
Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test reports, and manufacturing instructions.
Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, or RF Engineering.
Proficiency in schematic capture software (e.g., Altium).
Hands-on experience with electrical & RF test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
Proven experience in RF and electrical design and testing (preferably > 5 years).
Familiarity with electrical & RF design tools and techniques, such as impedance matching, filtering, MCU interface, Power supply, and amplifier design.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
