About the role
- A Maintenance Technician at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience.
- They will be part of the maintenance staff, maintaining records, keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level.
- A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform painting duties, sand, caulk, prime and paint
- Perform snow removal
- Perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
Requirements
- 2+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques
- Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces
- 5+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques
- Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques
Nice to have
- Driver's license preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain the following prior to starting work:
- Woodward will supply information to assist you in obtaining these if needed.
- Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
- Safesport Training Certificate
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and accountability
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- Successful working in an independent and team environment
- Clean and maintain tools and mechanical equipment
- Operate small hand and power tools
- Operate a variety of air tools
