About the role
- As an Investments team member, you'll play a key role in the innovative investment strategies that enable our company and our financial products to serve our customers and their families when they need us most - now and in the future.
- Evaluate system outputs to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for our alternative assets portfolio
- Research and review of accounting guidance to assess existing processes - identifying potential efficiencies and/or gaps in current business processes
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Finance Teams across all product lines and assist in the development and execution of Investment strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create efficiencies and deliver superior business results
- Support accounting policy implementation and strategic business process redesign efforts
- Help maintain SOX controls documentation and evaluate deficiency risks through on-going review and validation of key operational processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related discipline
- 2-5 years of U.S. GAAP and/or U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting experience
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once and prioritize appropriately
Nice to have
- CPA is preferred

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Skills including MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot)
Compensation
- This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range.
