About the role

- Our state of the art processing plant provides fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, an expanded salad line, and a USDA-certified hot kitchen.
- And is responsible for general custodial care of the facility and sanitation activities of the warehouse under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Performs all duties safely, accurately, and meets all set productivity goals.
- This position requires workers to perform any combination of the following tasks to maintain sanitary work area of food production facility: Cleans floor of production area, by removing garbage, moving floor mats, picking up food items, and tearing empty cardboard boxes, Dishes from kitchen
- Maintain sanitary conditions in the facility to include collection and disposal of all warehouse and facility trash or debris daily and clean up all spills
- Maintain parking lots and front sidewalks every week or as needed to maintain appearance
- Clean any/all restrooms when needed to maintain sanitary conditions. This includes the cleaning of urinals, toilets, sinks, counters and countertops, mirrors, sweeping and mopping of floors, and restocking paper dispensers
- Maintain the accuracy of warehouse product locations when performing slot cleaning
- Perform all custodial duties throughout the entire facility which includes dusting, sweeping, washing, wiping, scrubbing, shoveling, and mopping.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift, up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift throughout shift
- Ability to learn, understands, and consistently follows sanitation procedures and methods
- Must have schedule flexibility and be available for overtime and weekends.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Often required to climb ladders to perform these duties

Compensation
- $22-26 per hour
