Responsibilities
- Source proactively for AI and engineering roles across Lazer's Core practice - building targeted lists, writing thoughtful personalized outreach, and running focused sourcing sprints.
- Manage candidate communications end-to-end: scheduling, coordinating interview loops, keeping candidates warm and informed at every stage.
- Maintain clean, accurate records in Ashby - stage updates, notes, sourcing tags - so the team always has a clear picture of the pipeline.
- Support offer logistics - reference checks, scheduling debrief calls, tracking offer status - so nothing falls through the cracks at the close.
- Learn the market - develop fluency in AI engineering comp, what candidates care about, and what we're competing against, and surface that intel to the team.
- Experience building or using sourcing automation tools (Clay, Apollo, etc.)

Requirements
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience sourcing and screening technical talent - software engineers, AI/ML engineers, or adjacent roles.
- Prior experience recruiting specifically for AI/ML engineering roles
- Familiarity with Ashby or comparable ATS
