About the role

  • This role is both formational and missional and is aimed at preparing residents to step into long-term ministry leadership roles following completion of the residency.
  • Serve as a primary leader in the administration and coordination of The Salt Company, ensuring strong execution, organization, and communication across the ministry
  • Contribute to planning and execution of Salt Company gatherings and ministry initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Training, coaching, and systems provided to help residents build and sustain a healthy support team
  • The Salt Company Resident is a two-year developmental role designed to train and equip future ministry leaders within The Salt Company and Citizens Church.
  • Residents commit to growing spiritually, developing ministry competency, and engaging in hands-on mission to college students.
  • Own key systems, workflows, and logistics that support weekly gatherings, events, and follow-up
  • Help drive clarity, alignment, and operational effectiveness across the team
  • Lead 1-2 student leader discipleship groups (weekly meetings with 3-5 female student leaders)
  • Support: Training, coaching, and systems provided to help residents build and sustain a healthy support team

Requirements

  • Attend all required staff meetings and trainings
  • Participate in required Salt Network events:

Compensation

  • $32,000 annually (fundraised)
  • $46,000 annually
