About the role
- The Patient Access Technician (PAT) is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for ensuring accurate patient admission and registration.
- This intermediate-level clerical position will allow you to apply your professional service-orientation, good judgment and independent thinking in your daily work functions.
Responsibilities
- You will perform eligibility verification and resolves any discrepancies, determine the need for financial assistance recommendation and application, referring to the Financial Counselor where necessary

- Partnering with patients, families and neighbors across the Pacific Northwest for more than 140 years.
- As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.
- If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.

- One (1) year of experience performing any combination of admitting, Health Unit Coordinator, patient registration, customer service or billing duties required
