About the role

Responsibilities
- Maintain positive, pleasant, and professional relationships between patients, staff members, and surgeons.
- Support efforts that provide a clean and professional environment for all patients, including, but not limited to, ensuring that operatories are clean, supplies are adequate, equipment is maintained, and compliance with all company policies is maintained.
- Monitor patient's vital signs during surgical procedures and provide support as needed.
- Support monthly office checks:
- Some travel as needed for training and to perform job functions
Requirements
- Basic life support certification required.
- Overtime is sometimes required as needed to perform job functions
- Safety procedures required, including protection to minimize the risks from X-rays
- Education/Certification:
- Previous clinical experience. Experience as an oral surgery assistant or dental assistant is preferred. (Will train the right candidate.)
- Basic life support certification required. Employer will provide training if the candidate is not current.

Nice to have
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (some college, preferred)
- Previous clinical experience.
