About the role

  • Essential Functions Follow all applicable procedures in directing the crew during meal preparation and clean-up.
  • Assist with the opening and/or closing procedures of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Model a strong work ethic and positive attitude for co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • The Prep Cook supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with meal production.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to anticipate and meet guest needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have physical ability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Must have reliable transportation, including in inclement weather.
  • Demonstrates Christian character, integrity, and adaptability.
  • Agreement with Thousand Pines' doctrinal statement, values, and employee handbook.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor, even under stress.
  • Possession of a current Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
