About the role

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO.
This position will focus on maintenance and development of software for high fidelity Missile Warning training.
Successful candidates should be detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Performing agile software development in both unclassified and classified environments applying software engineering best practices including unit testing, peer code reviews, continuous integration, and design documentation.
Collaborating closely with project stakeholders to communicate project status, discuss architectural decisions, identify risks, and develop accurate schedule and effort estimates.
Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including software architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, interface specifications, progress reports, and milestone deliverables.
Contributing to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.

Advanced consideration will be provided to candidates with a Space background and knowledge of the Missile Warning and Missile Defense communities.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Experience with C#.Net (preferred), Java, or C++.
Active Secret Security Clearance preferred, must be able to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance.
Candidate must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and work well in a team environment and perform independently.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $105,000-$130,000.

Working as part of a small team on project development and integration of C# applications in a virtual environment.
Engaging directly with customers to gather and refine requirements, propose innovative technical solutions, create user and system documentation, conduct training sessions, and participate in requirements and design reviews.

Active Secret Security Clearance preferred, must be able to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance
