About the role
- We need coverage for day shifts, as needed at our site in Lathrop, CA.
- Typical shift times for this location are Sunday and Monday at 10:30 am, Tuesday at 12 pm, and Wednesday and Thursday at 1 pm.
- We also have a consistent weekly need for coverage on Fridays from 4-10 pm.
Responsibilities
- Lead age-appropriate activities and manage group dynamics with empathy and skill
- Plan and implement curriculum and hands-on activities
- Maintain records, paperwork, and a clean, organized space
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and the Center Director
- 1+ year of experience as a Lead Teacher in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting (babysitting/nannying does not qualify)
- Familiarity with toilet training approaches and ability to support children at various stages of the process
Requirements
- Experience with diapering and knowledge of diapering best practices for toddlers
- Comfort with digital tools for parent/staff communication
Nice to have
- 1+ year as a Center Director
- Experience managing multi-age groups, including school-age children
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or similar certification
- $20-$24/hour starting
- Weekly paychecks
