About the role
- Working closely with Electrical Installers and Controls Engineers, the role is responsible for system validation, I/O checkout, PLC testing, and troubleshooting controls and network components at customer sites across North America.
- The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience working on sophisticated automated systems in a fast-paced installation environment.
- The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 38,000 - $86,000 salary at the time of posting.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with electrical installers and Controls Engineers to implement and validate simple to highly sophisticated material handling systems at customer sites throughout North America.
- Test, Validate, and fix various communications and controls networks, such as Ethernet IP, Device Net, Control Net, Profi -bus, ASI and CAN.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and documentation
- Ability to use and complete model-specific inspection and validation checklists
- Ability to acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire
