About the role

  • As a Business Relationship Manager/Director, you will be responsible for representing the IT department to the business for a portfolio of IT applications used throughout the organization.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for project related tasks and/or deliverables for projects that impact the supported product(s).
  • You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, often working or embedding yourself with the business to better understand their true needs.

  • This includes knowing the user base and understanding the issues facing the business department(s) who utilize IT's product(s), creating/updating product management deliverables (support models, roadmaps, training strategy, product reviews), managing 2nd level application support, application training, product administration and 3rd party vendors that support the product(s).
  • You will manage the resolution of production support related issues and partner with Product stakeholders to ensure tickets are updated and issues are worked as quickly as possible.
  • You will also serve as the liaison to your vendors, establishing a business relationship with their customer success, support, and product management teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of previous relationship management and software development experience in an enterprise and/or technical industry.
  • 5 + years of previous project management experience in an enterprise and/or technical industry
  • Advanced experience with enterprise tools and business suites - including hands-on experience working within the tool, configuring modules, and possess the ability to teach others how to use the tool efficiently.
  • Experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.

Nice to have

  • Certifications a plus, such as Project Management (PMP) or Certified Business Relationship Manager® (CBRM®)
  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • Terms / Expected Hours of Work:
  • Minimum 6-month ongoing contingent role, business needs based position
  • Additional hours may be required based on operational needs.
  • The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL.
  • The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
  • The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range.

  • Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
  • $3,000 - $3,800 USD
