Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, tradeoff analysis, design, and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions in support of National Intelligence sponsors.
- Collaborate with development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions to meet specific technical needs including compute, storage, networking, security, and managed services.
- Lead the implementation of cloud-based solutions and SecDevOps automation across projects.
- MITRE intends to maintain a website that is fully accessible to all individuals.
Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
- or 6 years with a Master's degree
- or a PhD with 3 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security or a related field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence technical outcomes.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript) with the ability to develop and maintain production-quality code.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice to have
- Approximately 8 years of experience in a technical field, including at least 4 years of hands-on technical experience designing and implementing solutions in cloud platforms (AWS experience strongly preferred).
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or a related field with significant cloud experience.
- Expert knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, OpenTofu, AWS Cloud Formation).
- Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript) with experience developing production-quality code.
