About the role
- Use SQL extensively to analyze marketplace performance data and uncover actionable insights across key metrics (liquidity, active quantity, pricing, engagement, and sell-through) surfacing trends, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders
- Analyze sales, stock on-hand, and on-order at the style/color/size level to make recommendations on style selections, unit allocations, and pricing strategies that balance revenue opportunity with profitability
- Monitor active supply metrics to ensure marketplace supply meets future demand and track initiatives like SKU-based incentives to measure opportunity recapture
Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory / "ad-hoc" data analysis to support various global strategic initiatives
- Stay on top of product trends across categories and conduct competitive intelligence research to identify emerging areas and maintain a best-in-class assortment
- Develop and maintain SQL-based dashboards that support the Business Development team
- Support projects and tasks from manager and other key stakeholders on an as-needed basis
- Develop and optimize workflows using templates and AI tools across systems
- Rowe Price Associates, Inc., Franklin Templeton, Adage Capital Management, Ulysses Management, D1 Capital Partners, Accel, Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, Matrix Partners, Upfront Ventures, Webb Investment Network and Y Combinator.
Nice to have
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau), Python, or inventory planning
- 2-4 years of experience in an analytical role (planning, buying, supply chain, e-commerce, or similar - fashion + footwear a plus)
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently query large datasets and turn findings into actionable next steps
- Comprehension of retail math and e-commerce metrics
- Genuine passion for product and trends across categories
- Proficient in SQL and Excel
- Comfort using AI tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ownership mindset
Skills

- Hiring Range:
- Tier 1 (Includes states such as California, New York (including New York City), Washington, Illinois and other higher-cost markets)
- $76,800 - $96,000 USD
- Tier 2 - (Includes mid-cost markets across the U.S.)
- $69,200 - $86,400 USD
- Tier 3 - (All other U.S. locations)
- $65,300 - $81,600 USD
