About the role

  • Job Description: Production Operator Huntsman is seeking a Production Operator supporting the Division Name Division located in Ringwood, IL.
  • This position will report to the Manager Production Excellence.
  • Job Scope Production Operators are responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safe and efficient production processes within the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests and analyze results to make necessary process adjustments
  • Maintain clean and orderly equipment and work areas
  • Follow instructions and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Collaborate with supervisors, process engineers, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to achieve production and quality targets

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Follow production documentation and accurately complete required records

Nice to have

  • The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
  • Previous experience operating extrusion equipment
  • Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 55 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, balance, and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts and overtime as needed

  • The compensation range reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
  • 401k - Huntsman automatically contributes 6% of eligible pay, regardless of employee contribution.

Skills

  • Basic computer skills and accurate data entry abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate seated and standing forklifts (training provided)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify errors, malfunctions, or deviations in quality, equipment, and documentation

Compensation

  • The compensation range reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
  • We consider a number of business-related factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training.
  • 401k - Huntsman automatically contributes 6% of eligible pay, regardless of employee contribution. In addition to the 6% non-discretionary contribution, Huntsman will match $1 for every $1 you contribute up to a maximum match of 4% of eligible pay.
