About the role
- We are seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our team.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of EVSE components and systems to ensure product compliance with specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.
- Oversee construction quality processes to ensure proper installation and commissioning of EVSE chargers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) processes in alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Field Service) to establish quality requirements and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze field data to identify trends, failure modes, and areas for improvement, working closely with suppliers and Field Service teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving processes for field failures.
Requirements
- This role requires hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, and quality methodologies such as 8D and FMEA, along with a strong background in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Hands on experience with APQP and PPAP processes.
- This position required 15% domestic travel and 5% international travel.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in the position offered, Quality Control Engineering, or related occupation.
Skills
- Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or Six Sigma.
Compensation
- 140,774 - 145,300 USD per year (US)
