About the role

  • We are seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our team.
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of EVSE components and systems to ensure product compliance with specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.
  • Oversee construction quality processes to ensure proper installation and commissioning of EVSE chargers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) processes in alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Field Service) to establish quality requirements and resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor and analyze field data to identify trends, failure modes, and areas for improvement, working closely with suppliers and Field Service teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving processes for field failures.

Requirements

  • This role requires hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, and quality methodologies such as 8D and FMEA, along with a strong background in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Hands on experience with APQP and PPAP processes.
  • This position required 15% domestic travel and 5% international travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the position offered, Quality Control Engineering, or related occupation.

Skills

  • Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or Six Sigma.

Compensation

  • 140,774 - 145,300 USD per year (US)
