About the role
- This role is for a Senior Network Engineer who will be part of the Global Network Operations team.
- Responsible for Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management, Event Management, and Problem Management for all client environments
- Understanding of large-scale network capacity management and modeling.
Responsibilities
- Provide L3 Operations support for investigation, troubleshooting and resolving network communications and operations issues impacting client, backbone access, or performance
- Design, engineer, and implement complex network solutions in a variety of disciplines, security postures, access control, and infrastructure
- Drive and implement network solutions-based architectures to increase efficiencies
- Provide strategic technical direction on highly complex network projects or activities involving the selection and recommendation of design approach and systems technology
- Design, engineer and implementation of Software Defined Networking
Requirements
- and very detail oriented with the ability to carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to consistently act in a professional manner and communicate with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and trends and learn new skills quickly
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role and overall 6+ years of work experience within Network space.
- Experience with DNS architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting including forward/reverse lookups, zone management, and DNS security
- Hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) solutions including grid management, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) for data center networking, including fabric deployment, policy configuration, endpoint groups, contracts, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Aruba wireless technologies including Aruba Central, wireless controllers, access points, and ClearPass for network access control
- Experience with SDN technologies such as VMWare NSX
- Experience with load balancing technologies such as F5, Netscaler, A10
Compensation
- As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $113,000 to $135,000 annually based on a full-time schedule.
