About the role
- The School of Public Service, in the College of Law and Public Service at the National University, invites applications for part-time faculty in Crime Scene Investigation & Forensics.
- The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of or potential for excellence in teaching in their field and a commitment to serving the university's diverse adult student body.

Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
- Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
- Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with performing crime scene investigation, forensic photography, and fingerprint analysis required.
- Experience working in Law Enforcement required.
- Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.)
- Master's degree in criminal justice, forensic science, administration of justice or other criminal justice or related forensics degree required. Doctoral degree in the criminal justice or forensic science field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of higher education teaching adult learner experience required.
- Experience in developing course content preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in California to facilitate courses onsite at the Spectrum Campus in San Diego.

- Hourly: $26.63 - $28.89
