- Air Liquide is Hiring for an Operations Quality Manager in Phoenix, AZ!
Responsibilities
- Guide and support a team of technicians and specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, analyzing data to identify trends, root causes of non-conformances, and opportunities for improvement, including working with the engineering department to develop a statistical process controls program Including developing trend reports for management review.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, analyzer vendors, design and project teams to partner to meet customer needs regarding 24/7 monitoring of gas quality are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to product quality and operational processes.
- Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Proven ability to propose improvement to management systems and implement them
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the electronics or specialty gas industry.
- 8 years experience operating and maintaining in-line gas analytical equipment with APIX, APIMS, Gas Chromatography, GC/MS, FIDs, and other types of analytical equipment
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding and practical application of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, SPC).
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Microsoft Office acceptable) and experience with QMS software.
- Ability to travel occasionally as required.
