About the role
- Printpack Jackson is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as an Extruder Operator.
- The Extruder Operator is responsible for operating and managing extrusion equipment to produce high-quality products while meeting production standards, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- This role includes providing directions to assistant operators and maintaining efficient production processes while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain product quality to meet customer expectations
- Manage material handling and preparation processes
- Oversee and perform roll changing and splicing operations
- Maintain resin inventory and equipment cleanliness
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Drug screening required
- Background check required
- Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues
- Must have performer or higher rating in last review
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Required Skills:

- Previous manufacturing experience preferred

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to read and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Technical knowledge of extrusion processes
