About the role
- This role is for rail fleet coordination/rail scheduling with the goal of providing safe and reliable flow assurance for Chevron's Upstream and Downstream and Chemicals business while maximizing commercial value.
- International Considerations: Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Schedule railcars to gather, transport, and deliver NGL/LPGs for Chevron's Upstream, Downstream and Trading businesses in North America
- Lead day-to-day railcar scheduling and operations including nominations, system balancing, and journey management
- Collaborate with railroads, Rail Transportation & Operations team, and others to mitigate operational risk, prevent incidents, and respond to any incidents that may occur
- Partner with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third parties
Requirements
- Team player and ability to work in fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Experience in the NGL/LPG commodity space
- Experience in a trading organization
- Railtrac, eBill or similar platform experience
- Relocation Options:
- Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
