Responsibilities
- Support industry-related events/activities, manage industry contacts, and help with employer engagement including career fairs, industry-led professional development opportunities, Companies on Campus, advisory boards, capstone showcases, company tours, and other department events.
- Engage in career support initiatives under supervision of assigned Career Services
- The purpose of this position is to support the growth, efforts, and goals of the Career Services department.
Requirements
- Strong command of Microsoft Office suite(Outlook, word, and excel) and ability to quickly grasp and utilize new concepts and technolog ies.
- Exceptional ability to organize information and pay attention to detail.
- Possess a strong ability to handle the stress of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment while managing time to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor's program or master's program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
- Exceptional ability to organize information and pay attention to detail. Along with the a bility to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - written, in person and via phone; m aintain ing a professional, composed manner when interacting with internal and external customers.
