  • Develop integrated clinical formulations, safety plans, and stabilization plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field (required).
  • Licensure: Within one month of employment must obtain a preliminary clinical license.
  • Provisional (LPCC, LSW, LMFTC, etc.)
  • Fully Licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • All licenses must stay up to date and valid during employment.
  • Experience in crisis stabilization, acute behavioral health, emergency services, or substance use treatment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ASAM criteria, withdrawal management levels, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and confidentiality standards.

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills highly valued
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Compensation

  • $60,000 - $75,000 per year for provisionally licensed staff (LPCC, CSW.
  • $75,000-$85,000 per year for fully licensed staff (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

  • Conduct comprehensive crisis behavioral health assessments, including suicide risk, violence risk, and substance use severity.
  • Provide crisis stabilization interventions, including mental health holds, de-escalation, brief therapy, and substance use interventions.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, SUD counselors, behavioral health technicians, emergency departments, detox facilities, and community partners.
  • Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Behavioral Health Technicians during shifts.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation supporting safety, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement.
