Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and their application.
  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operating systems.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage team members.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Scope of Position
  • This lean-thinking individual, as part of the Foundry Operations Team, will be responsible for oversight of 1st shift operations, ensuring production goals align with customer requirements and company objectives.
  • This position will lead the team in fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, while driving operational efficiency and associate engagement.
  • This position reports to the Operations Manager, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.
  • Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards, as well as budget and cost control measures.
  • Manage 2nd shift production and material handling to meet delivery schedules while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Lead daily Gemba walks and KPI board reviews to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Review production and operating reports, addressing and resolving operational and maintenance challenges.
  • Improve resource use by organizing and directing workflow to meet production plans.
