Responsibilities

  • Derives system-level requirements and performs Voice of the Customer requirements analysis and requirements management.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Develops system architecture, interface control documentation, and system design.
  • Performs system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk management, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system life cycle, to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, support and disposal.
  • These include (but are not limited to) design, development, support of production, verification and validation, certification, and delivery of final product.
  • Performs Cost Account Manager tasks and has responsibility for ensuring that scheduling and budgets remain on track.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science with 8 Years experience or a Master with 6 Years experience or a 4 Years with PhD with 4 Years experience
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice to have

  • Developed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to meet program needs
  • Generate system definition with Systems Engineers
  • Leading for projects while managing project requirements, budget, and deliverables
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace
  • Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace preferred
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • Engineering BS degree

Compensation

  • $135,800.00 - $203,600.00
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
