About the role
- We will be reviewing, interviewing and hiring for this role on a rolling basis.
- Our services include Strategy, Planning, Program Management & Construction Management.
- This role will also involve office engineer duties as outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and document the progress of construction activities, identifying any deviations from the planned schedule or specifications.
- Maintain daily records covering running totals of quantities and costs while construction is in progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in construction inspection, with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- W ill be required to be obtained NICET certification within 6 months of employment (if not actively held)
Nice to have
- NICET I or II certification in transportation/highway and bridge construction is highly preferred.
