Responsibilities
- The Lead Data Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platform technologies.
- This position will also be responsible for mentoring and developing junior data engineers, and for ensuring the quality and compliance of all data solutions.
Requirements
- Estimates work effort (resources, timeline, cost) for multiple projects across teams/areas of expertise
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing, data integration, and modeling.
Nice to have
- Medallion Architecture Modeling
- Python programming and data processing (dataframes, Spark, etc.)
- SQL development and performance optimization
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus
- Strong communicative, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor other team members in cloud technologies
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
