About the role
- The Clinical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and guiding supervisees within Meridian Counseling.
- This position involves providing clinical supervision, ensuring the quality of client care, supporting the professional development and managing their supervisory team.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Supervision: Provide regular triadic supervision to AMFT, ACSWs and APCCs Monitor and evaluate clinical work while offering guidance, feedback and support.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to support supervisees' growth and development.
- With the support of HR, address employee relations and performance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality assurance measures to evaluate effectiveness and outcomes of clinical services.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative supervisory team culture through effective communication and interpersonal skills, including developing strong relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments such as administration and intake, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Encourage and model support for those teams' requests in a timely manner.
- Supervisory Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supervision sessions, including progress notes and performance evaluations.
- Maintain performance documentation, including both recognition AND noncompliance/neglect leading to disciplinary action in partnership with HR.
- With support of HR, prepare corrective action plans when support is needed to reinforce expectations.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD/PsyD in the field of psychology, social work or counseling.
- Clinical Licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, PsyD) required.
- Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, treatment modalities, and regulatory requirements.
