Responsibilities

  • The successful candidates will support Laboratory Medicine by performing ECG, Venipuncture on inpatients/outpatients as well as Specimen Management duties.
  • Maintain safe working environment and comply with IPAC
  • Perform Specimen Management and Specimen Troubleshooting duties

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year related work experience in a laboratory setting
  • Minimum one (1) year recent work experience in, venipuncture, ECG and specimen management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory equipment maintenance and operation
  • Understanding of appropriate behaviour required working successfully in a diverse work group.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions

Nice to have

  • MLPAO or CSMLS license, preferred

Skills

  • Effective organizational, time management skills and prioritization skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
