ROLE ROADMAP Kalshi operates markets around the clock, and our margin and risk operations need to match.

Execute margin calls and manage the end-to-end margin call lifecycle including issuance, tracking, and resolution
Perform end-of-day and overnight reconciliations across clearing accounts, ensuring accuracy of margin calculations and collateral postings
Maintain and update risk operations runbooks, escalation procedures, and shift handoff documentation
Support the build-out of automated monitoring tools and contribute to process improvements that reduce manual risk in overnight operations

4-10+ years of experience in margin operations, clearing operations, or market risk at an exchange, clearinghouse, FCM, or broker-dealer
Experience operating in a real-time risk monitoring capacity, including making independent escalation decisions under pressure
Strong understanding of cleared derivatives, futures, or event contracts and their associated risk mechanics
Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and monitoring
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to stay sharp and decisive during high-pressure overnight situations

$90,000 to $120,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
