SUMMARY: The Director, Compliance is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the Credit Union's Compliance Management System (CMS) and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
This Director should possess strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assess risk, interpret complex regulations, and translate them into practical business solutions.

Lead enterprise compliance risk assessments and ensure alignment with overall risk management processes.
Deliver clear, actionable reporting to leadership regarding compliance risk posture, trends, and remediation activities.
Ensure effective utilization of system modules to drive risk identification, monitoring, reporting, and issue tracking.
Partner with business units to enhance automation, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Law, or a related field is desired
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive compliance experience in financial services, preferably within a credit union or banking environment.
Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations applicable to credit unions.
Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.

Clerical office duties on various forms of technology are required.
