Responsibilities
- Review for accuracy, as to form and procedural compliance, all court documents served and/or filed through the Managing Attorney's Office-D.C.
- Assist with and handle electronic case filings via CM/ECF and state court systems, as well as coordinate hard copy filings and document retrieval as needed.
- Screen and review incoming court documents and correspondence to calculate and calendar relevant deadlines using the firm's docketing system (CourtAlert).
- Perform quality control reviews of docket and calendar entries to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collect, maintain, and update attorney information, including bar admissions and e-filing credentials.

Requirements
- ability to interact effectively with attorneys, court personnel, and administrative staff.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Washington, D.C. federal and state court systems, including corresponding rules and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Admission to Washington D.C. Bar required.
- Minimum of five years' experience in a Managing Attorney's Office at a large law firm.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with attorneys, court personnel, and administrative staff.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to shifting demands.
- Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Nice to have
- Experience supervising staff within a Managing Attorney's Office at a large law firm strongly preferred.
Compensation
- The annual compensation range for this position is $265K-325K.
- The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
