Responsibilities

  • Lead the Manufacturing Quality business processes for the Fayetteville site including change management, non-conformance management, corrective actions, etc.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders including the factory and business unit teams.
  • To be successful in this role, the person will collaborate with internal teams within Quality, Operations & Business teams to track, maintain, and report on those processes within the Wolfspeed Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing
  • The ability to operate in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment and to execute at both a detailed level as well as a strategic level.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.
  • Experience with auditing to the IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO9001 standards strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC) is a strong plus.
