About the role

  • This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operational stability of datacenter and network technologies, working in close partnership with remote teams to ensure reliable and seamless IT services.
  • This position plays a key role in advancing technology transformation initiatives across data center operations, network environments, and A/V solutions.
  • will evolve over time to align with the client's technology portfolio and project demands.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of TIA-568 wiring standards and structured cabling practices.
  • Procure equipment and software, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders as required.
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Active pursuit of an Associate's degree may be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical and operational problems of moderate complexity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and train users in clear, non-technical language.
  • Ability to work independently while balancing multiple tasks and competing priorities.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of server infrastructure and server operating systems.
  • Experience with enterprise network equipment such as Aruba, Brocade/Ruckus, and FortiNet.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft server environments and Azure infrastructure.
  • Experience installing and supporting Audio Visual equipment (e.g., neat.board pro or comparable technologies).
  • ITIL certification or familiarity with IT service management frameworks.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Server+, or equivalent experience.
