About the role
- Your Opportunity as an ICQA Supervisor The Inventory Control Quality Assurance Supervisor will play a vital role in overseeing the management and accuracy of our inventory.
- include monitoring stock levels and ensuring proper storage practices to align with established quality standards.
- The supervisor will need to identify and address any quality issues proactively and conduct investigations to determine root causes, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Responsibilities
- This position will also involve developing and implementing effective inventory control procedures and quality assurance protocols.
- Manage all inventory and quality functions.
- Manage inventory control team members - conduct onboarding, training, performance feedback and coaching to team members.
- Perform inventory audits.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional team members and related staff groups.
- Maintain quality assurance standards to meet evolving industry quality requirements.
- Recognize/develop opportunities for employee growth.
- Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices and following safety practices.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years' experience in comprehensive supply chain management,
- 2+ years of experience in management of inventory within distributions logistics preferably in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Flexibility required.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years' of leadership experience preferred
- Experience in BlueYonder, Oracle and IMI systems is a plus.
