About the role
- Focusing on math, reading, course recovery, post-secondary planning, job readiness and providing individualized and small group tutoring.
- College coursework in education, language arts, and/or mathematics helpful.
- THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.
Responsibilities
- Providing in-school and after-school tutoring, mentoring, and support services in Orlando area community centers and public high schools.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid Florida Driver's License is required.
- If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
- Required work hours: 35-40 hrs./week
Nice to have
- Between 30 and 60 semester hours of college preferred.
Compensation
- Compensation: $1,110 bi-weekly
