About the role
- Job Description: Job Description Airtron is seeking a detail-oriented Residential HVAC Quality Control (QC) Technician to serve as the final checkpoint on new construction installations.
- The QC Technician identifies and corrects installation deficiencies, verifies system performance-including airflow and operation-and ensures each home is delivered with a high-quality, customer-ready system.

Responsibilities
- Perform final quality inspections on residential HVAC installations
- Inspect ductwork and implement necessary modifications to meet design and performance standards
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on installation quality trends
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, corrections, and system performance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including occasional weekends
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and, when required
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work at heights including ladders
- Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
Nice to have
- HVAC trade school certification (experience may be substituted)
- 2+ years of residential HVAC installation or service experience
- EPA Certification (can be obtained during employment)
- Experience with system start-up, commissioning, or quality control processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects
- Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety standards
Compensation
- $22-$30/HR
