About the role
- Canam Bridges is a member of Canam Group, which has over 3,500 employees and operates 12 plants in North America, as well as engineering offices in Canada, Romania, India and the Philippines.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Work Environment Routine exposure to steel fabrication environment and occasional outside weather conditions, excessive noise levels and regular exposition to vibration.
Responsibilities
- All production and production support positions fall into this category.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, clients and supervisors
- Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Regularly required to stand
- Frequently required to climb or balance
- Mill, turn, drill, tap, deburr, mold and all bench operations and inspections as required
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
Benefits
- Three months of CNC machine operations or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
