About the role

  • The Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of production personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
  • This role plans and assigns work based on equipment, material, and staffing availability, while maintaining accountability for production output, schedule adherence, and quality standards during the shift.
  • As the primary leadership presence on 2nd shift, this position plays a critical role in driving performance, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring seamless communication across teams to meet internal and external customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) on the production floor in coordination with Engineering.
  • Lead shift operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and on-time delivery commitments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience adapting to new processes, technologies, and production methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification or familiarity.

Nice to have

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting preferred.
