About the role
- The Strategic Planner leverages research, industry knowledge, and analytical thinking to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and contribute strategic recommendations that help position clients, brands, and campaigns for success.
- This role is ideal for a curious, collaborative thinker who enjoys turning information into actionable recommendations and helping shape meaningful customer experiences.
- Identify, gather, and analyze information from a variety of sources to understand customer behaviour, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of go-to-market plans for a portfolio of brands across the Canadian market.
- Help develop customer engagement strategies across channels including email, web, search, media, social, and emerging technologies.
- Support the development of customer journeys, messaging frameworks, tactical plans, and campaign blueprints.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations and creative opportunities.
- Support measurement and reporting initiatives by helping analyze campaign performance and identify learnings for future optimization.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of marketing principles, customer experience, and strategic planning frameworks.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and identify meaningful insights.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across disciplines and teams.
- Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, social media analytics tools, or dashboard reporting platforms.
- Experience gathering and interpreting consumer, customer, market, and behavioural research.
- Familiarity with social listening tools and methodologies.
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy, marketing, communications, research, consulting, or a related field.
Skills
- A customer-first mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Compensation
- $65,000 - $115,000 CAD
