About the role

  • This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, punctual, hands-on, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, chopping, and preparing ingredients.
  • Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitary.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
  • Support the Chef with meal preparation and other basic culinary tasks as directed.
  • Provide additional general kitchen support as needed.
  • The Chef Assistant provides day-to-day support with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen operations.
  • The Chef Assistant will help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, prepare ingredients, and assist with basic culinary tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • No specific certifications are required for the position.
  • Prior culinary experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of kitchen responsibilities.
  • Comfortable performing cleaning, washing, food preparation, and other hands-on tasks.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain established kitchen standards.
